Saint George’s Church of England School

About the School

‘We are all different, all equal, all flourishing’.

Saint George’s C of E school was founded in 1580 and has a long tradition of working within the Gravesham community. The motto ‘All Different, All Equal, All Flourishing’ emphasises the Christian belief that the skills and interests of all students should be developed, recognising and valuing their unique worth and God-given talents.

The heart of the school’s vision is a belief in inclusive, creative and holistic, educational excellence.  Saint George’s serves all pupils, staff, families and our local community through an education that enables everyone to develop and thrive intellectually, socially, culturally and spiritually in order to live life in all its fullness.

The school offers an excellent education with a broad and balanced curriculum, a rich variety of enrichment opportunities, and experiences that extend beyond the classroom.

In 2014,  Shorne C of E Primary, St. Botolph’s C of E Primary and Saint George’s formed the Aletheia Academies Trust.  Working within a Multi Academy Trust has enabled Saint George’s to establish a very strong, sustainable relationships with schools who all focus hard on improving opportunities and outcomes for all of our children.
