Gravesend Grammar School has a long history of supporting the young people of Gravesend to strive to achieve their full potential. The school expects students to work hard to succeed academically but also provides opportunities to develop through an enriching extracurricular programme. Its aim is to provide students with challenges and opportunities that will equip them with the qualifications and personal attributes to enable them to be successful in later life.
In March 2025, Gravesend Grammar School officially joined as a member of Aletheia Academies Trust.
