Christian Distinctiveness

Aletheia Academies Trust is rooted in a Christian foundation that shapes our vision, values and approach to education. Across Kent, we serve a diverse range of communities through nine primary academies and two all-through schools. We work closely with the Diocese of Rochester to ensure our Church of England schools remain deeply rooted in faith, worship and service.

Our Church of England academies are places where Christian vision is lived out daily – informing leadership, teaching, relationships and the wider life of the school. Guided by the Church of England’s vision for education, our schools seek to enable pupils and adults to flourish, to live life in all its fullness, and to develop a strong sense of dignity, hope and responsibility for others.

Worship, Community and Everyday Practice

A Trust-Wide Ethos

Collective Worship is a daily and valued part of school life in our Church of England academies. Through worship, church services and close partnerships with local parishes, pupils are encouraged to reflect, ask questions, and develop a deeper understanding of faith, values and community. A rich programme of extracurricular activities and opportunities for service further supports pupils in living out Christian values in meaningful and practical ways.

While not all academies within Aletheia are Church of England schools, every school in the Trust shares and upholds the same core ethos: a commitment to dignity, compassion, respect and hope for all. Our Christian foundation informs the way we lead, the way we support one another, and the way we serve our communities—ensuring that every child is valued, nurtured and encouraged to thrive, regardless of background or belief.

SIAMS

All Church of England academies within Aletheia Academies Trust are subject to Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS).
