Adrian Oldershaw

Adrian has extensive expertise in school improvement. In his first senior role as a deputy head in Essex, he helped lead a primary school to become one of the top 10 most improved in the country.
He later moved to Barking and Dagenham as a non-teaching deputy at Roding Primary School. Following an ‘Outstanding’ OFSTED judgement in 2005, he supported the school’s expansion from 420 pupils on one site to 1,260 across two. He progressed from Head of School for the original site to leading the 4-form entry campus, and in 2018 was appointed Executive Head of what was then one of the largest primary schools in the country.
In February 2021, Adrian was appointed Senior Trust Improvement Officer, where he supports school development across the Aletheia Trust, focusing on raising aspirations and improving outcomes for pupils and staff.
